My sister tried a trick she learned from Apocalypto. Yes she watched an R-rated movie and she's 9. Gaaaaah she always butts into things like this. She made a teenage boy (perhaps college age) scared in the summer of 2006. She tried to shoot m and m's at me just like Jaguar Paw did with the poison darts. I think these movies are rated R not because kids can't handle them, but because adults don't find any pleasure at using small, bullet-like projectiles because of what they see in a movie. I want to watch that movie again and again and again but I had to return the DVD today. I find the Holcane warriors to be sexy, I already mentioned this to a certain Yuuzhan Vong spy. Gorinapsids have star observatories built on mountains in the shape of American pyramids. The space elf dolphin folk like to flock around them to take vacation photos but never go inside them. They don't know the universe is too big to support their narrow-minded religious views, silly space elves. There's a flock of Gorinapsids that lives in a star observatory. Each morning one of them gets picked on and sent across the desert to the supermarket to buy weasel fillets. Sometimes she trips down the staircase (recall that scene where they roll the bodies of sacrificed warriors down the pyramid) and sometimes the native weasels of the jungle go fanatical at the smell of their brine-coated domesticated brethren. She gets beaten up and goes on action movie chases home. They are surprised she is not a testosterone pumped hunter. I'm compiling a list of songs to play as the soundtrack to this flock of bird people.

Much of my dialogue owes to quotation. My sentences are comprised of borrowed words. I do not invent my own. My morning could have been a Regina Spektor songfic. There were two roosters below, and the roof of the lower portion of the hotel looked like a field below. I'm not sure if they were roosters but my sister chased them. Lim would sample chicken noises to make a record. She can sell her soul to Yun-Ne'shel to make one, but she ain't got no use for money because it's not the yippie way. Not even to buy a massage chair because she's a yippie and probably fished it out of the trash, much to the dismay of her technophobic parents. She makes music them. She ties up chickens to make them make noises. She is likely not Elmira Veller/Val's extra-vacuum offspring. If she was, Elmira would just be an egg donor and be very ashamed of what was scraped off the side of the shark-purse tank However, she is likely to be in the company of Vua Senneq and her prank-call prone friends. They beam messages to Kalee's reigning Overlord-ess of distasteful General Grievous memorabilia they find on the Holonet via Mycabbage. They send music from time to time. They think massage chairs are hip because they are weird and provoke varying responses from their Ferroan neighbors. ( Grinding the Ewoks into the stratosphere )

Oi. Post name of character from fandom I know. I will reply with: 1.3 things I like 2.3 things I don't like ( fic snippet )

I liked the Simpsons movie. Nope it wasn't the red wire. I'll just say I liked it...among other things that may or may not be liked by the general public. Moving day is drawing closer. My sister is hounding me about how fairies lay eggs in payapas and eat wutermelons. Pffft. Her antics are getting worse and worse as time goes by, and I suspect it's because she doesn't want to move (I told her that the Yuuzhan Vong will poke her in the night if I say Voldemort). She's trying to tell me I'm grounded. Nope. Switched the signs she put on our bedroom doors. Hers says "Please Disturb Me!" and mine says "Do Not Disturb!". My memory fails me. I should vote for someone in that fanfiction contest. *makes note to draw Harry Potter fanart to ride out HP craze over Deathly Hallows* I asked a whole bunch of people already to draw Miss Dolphin Reicarnation here. I should get writing. Ah. Here's some excerpts. ( And I didn't even lock it! )

It was the kind of scene genetic recipients never imagined possible. |
8 x 84 = 672 8 x 2 x 42 = 672 Kaleesh like the numbers 8, 4, and 42.

I was taken to a restauraunt of choice for my birthday. They didn't list the prices of the items on their menu (or didn't do a good enough job of it!) My mom ended up paying $107 D: I knew something was fishy about the fancy way they arranged the tiny appetizer. Arg, I don't feel too well about this. At least there will be a $50 a day reimbursement for food when my family goes house-hunting in Seattle XP On better news, I found the cover for Knightfall on Terese Nielsen's Deviantart account. I guess I don't have to buy Spectrum 8. But I already ordered it from Border's. Errr, I guess I don't have to buy it because it's used. Only 2 more days of Chinese school. Finally! Aha, I bought Within Temptation's US release of The Heart of Everything. So far, it's good, but I wish the lyrics were more storylike, as in their last album (aha, I should of bought that one instead, if the files weren't so easy to find and I only want it for Aquarius, which I already have and decided I should buy the album just because I might possibly like the rest of it). "Hand of Sorrow" has Jacen Solo vibes. Yes, Jacen. I wonder how he'd fare against Harry Potter. I still need to finish reading Deathly Hallows. It's taking long due to Chinese School and the fact I don't want to buy it. So I read a bit each day at the bookstore. I'm on page 111 right now, don't spoil it! My sister tried to, until I told her the Yuuzhan Vong would be angry if she said anything else. My classmate was also doing it, but wouldn't stop because "I'm not talking to you" XP Arrrrrrrrg need to finish contest entry for Lameep. Need to get around to art trade with MistyTang. Need to listen to the album.

The current name stuck in my head: Botousan. But it sounds too much like fangirl Japanese. So does Baijiisan. I had an ASCII art dolphin in mind, but the formatting messed that up D: I find that I can fit my fist into my mouth, at least up until the knuckles. Nice. I'm not supposed to use that word, nice. It's a four-letter word. Nice. I also dislike having to use the word on Deviantart comments because it sounds so...unoriginal. Like the comment is insincere. I tend to comment insincerely to attention whore my own gallery. Usually with artists I'm trying to get to know. I think the stream of conscious method works better, like when I notice something funny and it goes off into a grand paragraph and a half. I tend to be more visually engaged in the art that isn't "uber good" because I relate with artists on my level rather than ones above my level. I was going to say "below my level", but I should't be going on about an artistic hierarchy, as there's a point where there's no solid "I'm better" in terms of artistic achievement, being very little to compare to as "better" {or maybe this doesn't exist, and "improvement" is just harder to spot}. I suppose the amount of effort is what determines quality by then. Or maybe the subject matter that matters by then. I doodle idly and find my subject matter unappealing by the time I'm done. This may be why some of my pictures don't have very many comments; the subject matter is drab. There's a lack of dynamic poses. I'm working on it. I tend to notice the anatomical errors after I ink a sketch, which isn't good because I'm always trying to find ways to fix the lineart afterwards, like drawing a line that is the "correct" configuration much bolder than the actual lineart. You can see this in "Growth Nuisances", featuring Shedao Shai and Deign Lian. Don't worry, this entry isn't really that deep or that serious, and my livejournal is yet to be as interesting as Amanda Palmer's diary. I'm aiming for it. It'll take some ammount of years to build up the life experience. Or do I not need so much? My father took my bike today, for reasons unknown. Well, it was my parents money that bought it. I was dropped off for Chinese lessons by car. If I ever write a biography, I should start a clever self-reflection with this. And include the part about how I was a good student because I wasn't a good student in 3rd grade, which meant missing out on a weekly prize. I slack a bit in Chinese lessons because I can't see if my grades are good. It's the Vua'sa and salad on a stick model.

I saw no Kaleesh, unfortunately, at Star Wars Celebration. I did see a Yuuzhan Vong warrior, and got the miniatures that were rather expensive for their small size. There's some of them that look cosplay worthy for someone who can full off the revealing outfits. Ai, maybe not me. I was able to speak with Jan Duursema on Saturday, although I think I should have brought a camera, or rather just remembered to take a picture in the first place (I had a camera phone on me). Same went with Matthew Wood, whom I forgot to take a photograph with even with a camera on hand D: Fargleblarg. Liaan Lah doesn't seem to be female after all. But I got a sketch of a YV who was. Ai. It's my personal quote to always ask "is it a girl?". Well, I didn't have to ask Terese Nielson about the one in the Knightfall painting (which I photographed, but not enough because I wanted the detail of the priestess's face because I don't have $1,000 lying around). Matthew Wood let me have his autograph for free, shhhh. Ai, so the reports are correct and he's a nice guy? Should of talked some more, I lack the ability to uphold conversations with people who aren't really into what I'm into. Aayla Secura was a pretty popular subject with child cosplayers, hmm. Didn't get to see Kara. Said that for the ...third time. I was asked to take a picture with someone three times because I was dressed up in a crude Kaleesh costume. Speaking of, Grievous is in the new Clone Wars series :D I bought a Max Rebo band shirt. It's several sizes too big but I tied it with a rubber band.

I nearly didn't manage to complete the Japanese written final D: Stress, stress stress. I had a dream several days ago where I forgot to finish my Japanese homework and my backpack was very heavy. I was stumbling down the stairs as Yuuzhan Vong warriors chased me to a wetsuit store. Whaaaa. I'm picking up Ghosts of Ossus Part 2...it's rather far to the comic store.

I watched a disturbing video about an Ebola outbreak in Zaire. There was scary music, and I had to sit the in front seat in the classroom. I must wonder why I still slept well. There's a Gaia Online user named THE EBOLA VIRUS!.... And then I come down with a fever and congestion, just after learning about the immune system in Biology. I had a doctor's appointment this morning and read magazines with pictures of baby animals. I bet space elf infants can participate in more activities than human ones, just like baby seals and baby dolphins and most other types of marine mammals. My dad quit his job because we're moving. I may move without my mom because she will stay behind to sell the house. I'm not looking forward to having him cook, unless he orders takeout all the time.

I bought Star Wars Legacy #11: The Ghosts of Ossus just for the Yuuzhan Vong panels XD Well, since ( cut for spoilers )
Thu, May. 3rd, 2007, 04:26 pm impending doom

Yes, Sheela. I'm moving to Seattle. I don't know the exact date, but my dad received the confirmation that his job application has been accepted. I'm expecting to be cut off from the web for some period of time. I'm only reluctant to leave California because most of the e-friends I know live here. I'm a little irked by the adaptive PE kids they put me with in school, even though I shouldn't be looking down on them. However, I'm worried my new school won't have a Japanese National Honor Society program :/ I watched Pay it Forward in class. The scenes leading to the ending were a bit unconvincing, or I wasn't paying attention, but it's funny in a serious way. *thinks about including Yuuzhan Vong preteen scolding RP character and getting smacked in RP )

My parents are discussing the possibility of moving to Seattle, Washington in the future. I don't know if it's final, but I wonder if I should be happy about it. California has the reputation for being the center of American pop culture, but Seattle is the headquarters for a lot of big companies (Microsoft, for example). Although if it's just my dad who moves.... I watched a documentary about celebrity plastic surgery. I'm trying to keep an open mind about it, since space elves are no different. Nevermind, Space Elves are fictional. I want to live in a living house just like one, but since Space Elves are fictional anyway, it's a big stretch.

I finally get around to sharing this. Prologue: Mrs. Dal ( Read more... )

I don't know why Elmira would write a letter to a 13-year old girl living in the Middle Ages, but I did this for a school assignment and it seemed like something people would want to read. Forgive my YV OOCness D: ( Read more... )

I went to the Untitled event at the MOCA on Saturday, and the Star Wars exhibit at the California science center (okay, I didn't get in but I saw a glimpse of it outside the gift store). The first event gave free access to the Skin + Bones exhibit (interesting fashions) and the at the second my mom bought my Force Heretic III. It seems like more accusations have piled up on the Yuuzhan Vong entry on Wookieepedia. I have contributed some tidbits to Wookieepedia under the name Elmira_Val (I plan on making a profile sometime soon). Anyone heard of the rock band Kindle?
Thu, Feb. 22nd, 2007, 05:47 pm splurge

I went out and bought The Final Prophecy. Gaff Star Wars is an expensive fandom. Somebody needs to do a parody of "Mrs. O" by the Dresden Dolls featuring the Yuuzhan Vong and hairdryers that makes fun of how people are angry at the EU. Zonoma Sekot (or Jaina Solo) will be "Mrs. S" "Yes Jaina, All because The Force won't save you now Matthew Stover can't say how Every new planet and new anthem Tears a hole in the fabric of canon But you can stop the plot from leaking If you stop the fans from reading" anyone taken the AMC math contest? I didn't do well that's for sure. And usually I'm good at math. The people around me are looking at porn.
