I liked snow until I found out it was cold. In the face. I wave a lot of things in the face, but I shouldn't use the word things because it's cliche and therefore inapproriate for usage in respectable writing (but several songs I adore involve the word "things" in the lyrics). Respectable writing. A demonstration is outside, and I feel guilty for not being involved. Perhaps they are still there. If only it had not snowed today, and made Jacen Solo whip out his boombox. Lucasarts is supposedly going downhill for milking the Star Wars cash cow. I wonder if the Star Wars artists ever get the order to draw bigger boobs on their characters. I wouldn't dream of this with Elmira, although longer mammary cilia sound aesthetically appealing. The black milk is an aphrodisiac. I needn't prattle on. I made a card of meerkats. I'll wait until Tuesday. I will present on Bach sooner or later. Also, I'm considering buying Psychonauts. Video game store is right outside. I hope they have a used copy.

Hope the underground lake flows. I wish to be as noble as the pigeon in mating season...it's in a book I heard the original term. Tamed ostriches roam free but feral pigeons roam freer.

So, I didn't win the underrated category. McEwok did, although that's contradictive because it was the most popular in the category, meaning it's not the most underrated...

KFC potato bowls should be eaten in 2 sittings. I was put in the "pseudo-vomit" mood where I make an almost vomiting gesture but end up not vomiting. Kentucky Fried Fosh. The potatoes are good, except near the end when they become too salty. I have a whale shirt now, just not the whales I'm into. Sperm whales are rather well-known.

For the Harry Potter types: pretend Harry Potter saved the Chinese River Dolphins by moving them to an area protected by magic, except the muggle researchers don't know that.

My votes for the 2007 Beyond the Saga Awards were not accepted because they registered me as a voter too late D:<

I don't expect to win anything for my fanfic because my Yuuzhan Vong are too wishy-washy, unlike Thrawn McEwok/Imperial77's. I feel awful for my incompetence in portraying Elmira as an alien masochist without several human fallacies.

On a lighter note, guess who got published. My letter to the editor is in the back pages of Star Wars: Legacy 15. My feedback paid off. I recall the last time I was published, my comic was printed wrong and turned out into a mosaic blur and I got all upset because it was right before my middle school promotion D:

I liked the Simpsons movie. Nope it wasn't the red wire. I'll just say I liked it...among other things that may or may not be liked by the general public. Moving day is drawing closer. My sister is hounding me about how fairies lay eggs in payapas and eat wutermelons. Pffft. Her antics are getting worse and worse as time goes by, and I suspect it's because she doesn't want to move (I told her that the Yuuzhan Vong will poke her in the night if I say Voldemort). She's trying to tell me I'm grounded. Nope. Switched the signs she put on our bedroom doors. Hers says "Please Disturb Me!" and mine says "Do Not Disturb!".

My memory fails me. I should vote for someone in that fanfiction contest.

Only 2 more days of Chinese school. Finally! Aha, I bought Within Temptation's US release of The Heart of Everything. So far, it's good, but I wish the lyrics were more storylike, as in their last album (aha, I should of bought that one instead, if the files weren't so easy to find and I only want it for Aquarius, which I already have and decided I should buy the album just because I might possibly like the rest of it). "Hand of Sorrow" has Jacen Solo vibes. Yes, Jacen. I wonder how he'd fare against Harry Potter. I still need to finish reading Deathly Hallows. It's taking long due to Chinese School and the fact I don't want to buy it. So I read a bit each day at the bookstore. I'm on page 111 right now, don't spoil it! My sister tried to, until I told her the Yuuzhan Vong would be angry if she said anything else. My classmate was also doing it, but wouldn't stop because "I'm not talking to you" XP

My fanfiction, Yun-Yammka in Escrow, got nominated for "Most Underrated Fic". Eh, that shows my current status in art as well. This may change as I take comissions on Subeta, but my writing is probably staying underrated. The underrated nomination is a contradiction, because after nomination the fic isn't underrated any more. Ah, it's like that way with underrated Squaresoft games. Speaking of, there's a March of the Penguins game! Nothing is out of grabs when it comes to it. Don't tell me there's a Harold and Kummar Go to White Castle game too...

So yep, it's my birthday and I have a present of a nomination. I'd get the Harry Potter Book that came out because everyone else is reading it and posting spoilers that I can't read because I haven't read the book. Arrrrrrrrrg I want to read it and get it over with because of all the plot tension. Several classmates had their copies. I accidentally spilled water on a classmate's textbook while reading his copy. I only got to page 21 or so before he wanted to continue reading. I settled for reading Terry Pratchett's The Color of Magic. His books lack an essential "zing!" I was expecting, although the current chapter is full of action. Yes, action. I saw two butterflies mating on a jasmine bush at Farmer's Market. I didn't get to take pictures. I think the female was the one with the duller colors, but I'm not sure. Gosh how I assume one is the female and the other is the male. Gender would be relative in aliens on another planet, but believing in them is like believing in God, since there's no solid evidence. Says the alien painter.

I still need to work on the contest entry for Lameep. But no inspiration to finish D:

Amanda Palmer posted a reply to one of my threads at the Dresden Dolls forums. Perhaps I expected this, and subconsciously prompted a reply, or the topic needed answering. Well, the answer was in the form of link, which pretty much took care of it. I tend to be a disassociative song interpreter and thought "Astronaut" wasn't about an astronaut's wife. Well I thought it was, only I tried to apply other meanings to it. Oh well, I was a bit embarassed at possibly being wrong, but I'll keep that meaning in mind when I think of other ones. I feel slightly awkward at associating the song with fictional characters. Should I? I'm rambling, it's probably nothing and a cheesecake. Yes I am it's a stream of conscious while I try to unblank my mind to reply to the Star Wars RP I'm in. The RP has completely uncanon characters, which might be the point of the RP in the first place.

Could anyone send me songs by Paramore, Flyleaf, and Pink Martini? I had the CD Hang on Little Tomato, but I lost it. I also don't have their first CD, Sympathique. Nor do I have Hey Eugene. I also want "Cold" by VNV Nation and "Breathe Me" by Sia.

I saw no Kaleesh, unfortunately, at Star Wars Celebration. I did see a Yuuzhan Vong warrior, and got the miniatures that were rather expensive for their small size. There's some of them that look cosplay worthy for someone who can full off the revealing outfits. Ai, maybe not me.

I was able to speak with Jan Duursema on Saturday, although I think I should have brought a camera, or rather just remembered to take a picture in the first place (I had a camera phone on me). Same went with Matthew Wood, whom I forgot to take a photograph with even with a camera on hand D:

Fargleblarg. Liaan Lah doesn't seem to be female after all. But I got a sketch of a YV who was. Ai. It's my personal quote to always ask "is it a girl?". Well, I didn't have to ask Terese Nielson about the one in the Knightfall painting (which I photographed, but not enough because I wanted the detail of the priestess's face because I don't have $1,000 lying around).

Matthew Wood let me have his autograph for free, shhhh. Ai, so the reports are correct and he's a nice guy? Should of talked some more, I lack the ability to uphold conversations with people who aren't really into what I'm into.

Aayla Secura was a pretty popular subject with child cosplayers, hmm.

Didn't get to see Kara. Said that for the ...third time. I was asked to take a picture with someone three times because I was dressed up in a crude Kaleesh costume. Speaking of, Grievous is in the new Clone Wars series :D

I bought a Max Rebo band shirt. It's several sizes too big but I tied it with a rubber band.

My classmates in third period have really gotten on my bad side, I'm sorry to admit it, but I seem to have something against African Americans at my school because a lot of them have harassed me about my dislike of pennies and have ditzy attitude about it. There was a girl harassing me in the girl's bathroom who dropped pennies all over the floor and tried to give me one. I really wanted to smack her for it, but the last time I did something like that, the third period class was laughing and joking that I was going to bring a gun to school.

I went to the Untitled event at the MOCA on Saturday, and the Star Wars exhibit at the California science center (okay, I didn't get in but I saw a glimpse of it outside the gift store).

The first event gave free access to the Skin + Bones exhibit (interesting fashions) and the at the second my mom bought my Force Heretic III. It seems like more accusations have piled up on the Yuuzhan Vong entry on Wookieepedia. I have contributed some tidbits to Wookieepedia under the name Elmira_Val (I plan on making a profile sometime soon).

Yeah Vong Dong. I went to Las Vegas for Christmas and saw Cirque Du Soleil (I almost thought I was going to see a magic show instead but was surprised to find out it was the "O" show). The last day of the trip was rather distressing because of technical difficulties (couldn't find someone at New York New York). I don't like the air inside the casinos, it's all nasty and I had trouble breathing and kept smelling cigarettes when I got home even though there were none.

I am also interested in Nen Yim x Jacen Solo because it's so silly, just not the carnal part D:

I managed to find a comic store (two actually, but one relocated) and a Tower Records Store in another town and I also saw a military vehicle with Cars style eyes on the windshield. I got a R.E.M. CD and some 25 cent comics.
